There are so many thoughts that I want to express on here, but when it comes time to type, I can't think of a damn thing.
Oh well...
SuperBowl 2009, a memorable day for most. For me? This is the day I bought my first yarn spinning device, an electric spinner! I spent my SuperBowl Sunday listening to Pandora and spinning yarn. and I wouldn't have had it any other way.
I drove nearly an hour to visit the lovely lady who owns Catskill Mountain Fibers (lucky me, she's my friend Andrea's momma) Well, Lex drove, tom tom navigated, and I bounced around excitedly in my seat, singing badly to good songs.
She gave me lots of extra goodies, and I couldn't thank her enough!
In other news, I finished a pair of fingerless mitts. I suppose they
should actually be called "mitt-less mitts" or wrist warmers. whatever. I'm calling them IMPERFECTIONist. I made the pattern myself - in my head. So they don't quite match, oh well! Who wants handmade mitts that look PERFECT?? pffft I sure don't.
I need to spend less time getting sucked into the land of internetz, and more time being productive.
